Nottingham’s Diablofurs return with their new 7″ Dream Skies in November, it’s their first single since the 2020 album Neon Satellites and have given Louder Than War an exclusive preview of the video.
Dream Skies is 4-mins of pulsating punk pop pleasure and available in three limited edition colours. (100 each on Translucent Yellow, Blue and Neon Pink available exclusively from Rough Trade). The track captures the energy and dynamism of the bands live performance with a DIY video produced by Rob Furs himself.
The band were formed in Nottingham 2015, by ex Birdland frontman (the shocking peroxide hair is gone) along with Suze (vocals); Kay (Keys & Synth); Becks (Drums) and Danii (Bass & Backing Vocals). The latter saying “we’re a pop band, well we’re a punkish sort of post punk band that plays pop hits.” Diablofurs have released a batch of sold out vinyl singles as well as the aforementioned debut album, whilst near constantly touring. including a couple of well received sets at the Rebellion Festival.
